Happy Holidays, Members, Prospective Members and Invited Guests!
At our holiday party this year, we will be collecting items for Snap Gap, an Interfaith Action of Evanston program. Since the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (previously "food stamps") does not include many non-food items that are also needed, other needs are filled through Snap Gap. As we head into winter, Snap Gap is collecting rich skin lotion for dry, chapped skin and garbage bags (requested by many people). These are for households; so full-size bottles of lotion are best. Hundreds of people will benefit from these gifts, so don't hesitate to bring multiples!
