The Election Has Happened, What Comes Next?

Professor Dick Simpson will be featured at our December 8 event. He will give us his opinion about what we can expect post-election. His message will be uplifting, educational, and will focus on some specific suggestions on the role that League members will need to play in preserving our democratic norms and guardrails.

This is a fundraiser that supports the vital work of the League as well as our ETHS scholarship program. Please bring friends, family and neighbors for a thoughtful discussion and a wonderful lunch.

Envision Evanston
Provide Input Deadline– December 17, 2024
The City of Evanston is looking for feedback on Envision Evanston 2045– a draft plan to guide growth and development over the next 20 years.  Please take the time to review the plan and provide your thoughts as an individual through the survey. The LWVE is also reviewing the plan from the perspective of our positions (written stance on various issues such as zoning, housing, economic development, etc.)
