A passionate and energetic crowd came together to hear speeches and to join in chants, singing, and mutual support at the “No Kings” rally at Evanston’s Fountain Square on Saturday, October 18. Many LWVE members found each other there. A lot of people at the rally brought funny or angry signs, but ours tended toward reminders of what democracy is all about. It was a joyful, purposeful, and spirited gathering!
