About this event

League of Women Voters Community Dinner
Thursday, April 23, 2026, 6 PM–9 PM
Unitarian Church  of Evanston

As we look ahead to the 2026 mid-term elections, the League continues to focus on how information gets to people making voting decisions.

Natalie Moore, an award-winning journalist based in Chicago, whose reporting tackles race, housing, economic development, food injustice, and violence, will lead discussion about how journalists seek to keep the public well-informed in a rapidly changing media landscape. The panel will address how newsrooms are reinventing themselves to meet these challenges and maintain the public’s trust.
