Join the LWVE Board

We’re looking for people to help guide the LWVE. Maybe you? Learn more about how Board members work collaboratively to help strengthen our democracy, to serve our community, and to have fun as well.

The LWVE Nominating Committee is hard at work identifying good candidates to serve on next year’s Board of Directors. Whether you are a long-time League member who would like to be more active, or a new member still learning the ways of the League, experienced Board members will be happy to mentor you.

Being a member of the LWVE Board is an experience to remember! While it may, at times, be demanding and will make real use of your knowledge and talents, it will also be educational and highly rewarding. Board members do interesting work with a dynamic group of people who also know how to enjoy themselves, and Board membership is often the basis of lasting friendships.

Interested in voter services, the observer corps, membership, communications, planning, fundraising, or issues advocacy (climate action, fair and affordable housing, the ERA, environmental justice, civics education, etc.)? Learn to use your skills to make things happen for the League and for your community. Help to set the direction for the LWVE, build your leadership skills, and expand your commitment to the League.
