Key Dates to Register and Vote

Register to Vote

Review voter registration info from the Cook County Clerk's Office
• By March 4: On paper or register in person with deputy registrar
• Between Feb 27 and March 16: Online if have Illinois Driver’s License or I.D. with State Board of Elections

Register to Vote and Voting

Early Voting* and Election Day
• March 17 thru March 31: at early voting sites*
• April 1 Election Day from 6 am to 7 pm: at your home precinct (see list) or at the Voting Centers at 69 W. Washington, Chicago pedway; Maywood Public Library; and the courthouses in Bridgeview, Markham, Rolling Meadows and Skokie

Vote by Mail

• If not on the permanent vote-by-mail list, can apply by March 27. Review vote by mail info from the Cook County Clerk's Office
• Completed ballots must be:

Mailed and postmarked on or before April 1
Delivered to designated secure drop boxes at Early Voting Sites from March 17 thru March 31
Delivered to designated secure drop boxes from March 17 thru and including Election Day on April 1 at the Voting Centers: outside of 69 W. Washington, Chicago (not the pedway); Maywood Public Library; and the courthouses in Bridgeview, Markham, Rolling Meadows, and Skokie.

Tues, Feb 25	Forum/Meet & Greet for Skokie Trustees: Districts 1, 2, 3 & 4 Candidates
Wed, Feb 26	Forum/Meet & Greet for Skokie Trustees: At-Large Candidates
Wed, Feb 27	Forum/Meet & Greet for Skokie Clerk Candidates
Sat, March 8	Evanston Municipal Candidate Forums sponsored by the LWVE
Th, March 20	Oakton College Board of Trustees Candidates' Forum hosted by OCCFA, AFA, and CSA

*Evanston’s Early Voting site will be the Civic Center basement (as in prior elections)during the following hours:

Mon, March 17– Sat, March 22: 9 am–5 pm
Sun, March 23: 10 am–4 pm
Mon, March 24– Fri, March 28: 9 am–7 pm
Sat, March 29: 9 am–5 pm
Sun, March 30: 10 am–4 pm
Mon, March 31: 9 am–7 pm

*Skokie's Early Voting will be available at two locations:
• Oakton College, 7701 Lincoln Ave. (P103-104)
• Skokie Courthouse, 5600 Old Orchard Rd. (Cafeteria Room 100)

At both locations, early voting will be available:
Mondays through Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and
Sundays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Note: Skokie Village Hall is not an early voting location.
