Where’s the LWVE membership directory?
The LWVE no longer prints a membership directory— but dues-paying members can look up names and contact information for other members on our website's
Online LWVE Member Directory/Look Up, found on our
Members Only page. Here’s how:
- Go to LWVE.org.
- Click on the red Member Login box at the top of the page.
- Enter your LWVE username and password, and click on the blue Login button. Don't have your username or password? Learn how to get them below*.
- Once you are logged in, you'll see the Members Only tab on the menu bar at the top of the page. Click on that tab to view the page that welcomes you to the members area of our site. The first paragraph of that page contains a link to the Online League of Women Voters of Evanston Member Directory/Look Up. Click on that link!
You can now enter the name of any LWVE member and access contact information. Entering just a first or last name works too. (That’s how the authors of this article know we currently have two members named Joan and six named Mary, not counting Mary Janes, Maryjanes, and Marybeths!) You can also search based on other criteria shown on the page. Don’t forget to click
Search once you’ve entered your search criteria.
*How do I get my LWVE username and password?
If you are a long-time member of the LWVE, you should have received a “welcome” email from LWVE, or ClubExpress (our website host), in October 2023 when we launched our new website. This email included your LWVE.org username and temporary password. If you joined since then, you should have received the same “welcome” email on the day your membership began.
If you did not receive that email, or you forgot your username and/or password, click the Forgot My Username/Password button on the sign-in page. Then, enter the email address you use for the LWVE and your first name. If your member record in our system includes that email address and first name, we'll automatically email you your username and a new temporary password. This message will come from Webmaster@lwve.org and will include instructions on resetting your password.
If you do not receive a password-reset email, please contact Mary Lewis at Webmaster@lwve.org and we can help reset your password manually. Include your phone number if you would like Mary to call you to help “in person” over the phone.
